There are forty eight acres of idyllic country side and woodland and each lodge overlooks the glorious scenery. Just sitting outside the lodge taking in the scenery is enough of a recommendation for this very attractive park, and you may get to see the deer from grazing on the horizon. Furthermore, you wouldn’t think you were just an hour away from the city centre.

Park Information
The lodges are very beautiful and very spacious with large windows so you can take in the view when you’re indoors. There is a lovely decking area with outdoor furniture outside each lodge which is ideal for barbecues on the summer nights. The decking also contains a hot tub which is lovely to relax in – romantically or even the kids will enjoy splashing around in it – whatever suits your needs for your holiday – making this a holiday of great variety.
The beach is beautiful and children will have loads of fun building sandcastles and playing in the sea while the adults take time out from parenting and enjoying reading a favourite book or just simply sunbathing in peace and tranquillity.
Taking trips can be exciting especially visiting the many seafood restaurants and in particular visiting nearby Burnham on Crouch which is alive with yachts when its boating season. The nearby town is Chelmsford and is six miles away and offers a direct train service to London that takes only thirty five minutes.
