With everything from rock climbing in the surrounding hills to abseiling down nearby cliffs on offer there is plenty to attract the more adventurous types, and there is little as thrilling as exploring the canyons in the beautiful hills near to the terraced site. The onsite restaurant is a highly recommended experience, sited in a converted old mill and as charming as can be and offering a whole range of local dishes that will delight all who indulge, while the organised walks are plentiful and offer a great way of exploring this pretty and often surprising part of France.
Camping Val de Cantobre is a long established site and it shows, for service here is second to none and the positioning of tents on the terraced grounds offers an unrivalled location. For family breaks or a romantic few nights under canvas this may just be the ideal place.
