An excellent restaurant and bar, sited in what used to be farm buildings within the site, offers excellent local cuisine that is highly regarded and the many sporting facilities available provide diversions and interest to visitors, yet it is the surrounding area that is of most interest to those who come to this wonderful part of France.
Domaine des Fumades is just a few kilometres from the lovely old town of St Ambroix while the famous Camargue region is in the immediate locale, and a short drive south takes you to the splendour of the Mediterranean. With organised evening entertainment, children’s clubs and other activities available in the high season the site offers a great variety to those looking for things to do, and trips to local towns and villages are worth the time and effort as there is much in the way of delightful French rural life to be discovered.
