This is a region steeped in glorious history and blessed with stunning countryside, and the wonderfully sculpted site means all pitches come with excellent views and are a good size. For many a beach is a certain requirement of a camping holiday, and at Les Menhirs you will not be disappointed for a short walk takes you to golden sands lapped by a beautiful blue sea.

Park Information
Carnac Plage as a town has much to offer, but there is plenty to do on the camp site itself. With a superb complex of pools that includes an exciting and fun water slide and a special pool for the smaller children and a gym and jacuzzi also available there is much to keep you busy, and for those of a sporting bent there are facilities for playing basketball and football as well as traditional French boules.
Many choose to hire a mountain bike and explore the area while others walk in the glorious landscape, and with many lovely towns to be found in the area it is worth hiring a car and driving a little further afield. The restaurants, shops and bars in the town of Carnac are popular with those staying at the park and the feel is one of a true French seaside resort – what could be better for a summer family break?
