Surrounded by panoramic views of mountains, rivers and lakes the situation of the park offers the opportunity to sit back and enjoy the relaxing surroundings with a glass of the local Rhine Valley wine or climb mountains, fish, cycle or mountain bike, horse riding, para gliding, hot air ballooning or go for a gentle stroll in the woods. Park facilities include heated indoor swimming pool with separate toddlers pool, tennis and table tennis, sports field, sauna and solarium, childrens indoor and outdoor play areas, fishing and bike hire. Restaurant, takeaway and snack bar as a welcome break from cooking for yourself and family entertainment in the evenings to round off a fun filled day.

There is plenty to see and do in the beautiful surrounding area and for Formula 1 lovers a visit to the nearby Nurbugring Grand Prix track is an experience not to be missed. The area is outstandingly beautiful and there are many fairytale castles, picturesque towns and villages to explore and the thermal spas at Bad Neuenahr and Bad Munstereifel are well worth a visit. The Rhine Valley is famed for its wine growing and a visit to a winery is always a memorable experience and the opportunity to sample and purchase the locally produced wine should not be missed.

Travelling from the UK there are 6 airports all within a 1 to 2 hour drive of the park, the closest being Weeze, then Cologne Bonn, Luxembourg, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt Hahn and Frankfurt, so plenty of choice for budget flights and car hire. Ferry travel if you wish to bring your own is further away with Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Zeebruge, Hook of Holland, Dunkerque and Calais all a 3 to 4 hour drive away.
