Landal Sonnenberg is centrally situated to explore the many interesting towns and villages in the Mosel Valley a famous German wine growing area. Wine festivals take place at regular intervals throughout the season and you can enjoy wine tasting sessions and purchase straight from the source of production – a great holiday souvenir.? A beautiful area for walking, cycling or driving? or you can chose to cruise along the river on a Mosel boat trip and enjoy the scenery at a relaxing pace while someone else does the hard work.

Travelling from the UK there is a wide choice of airports all within reasonable driving distance giving a greater choice of budget flights and car hire. Frankfurt Hahn is the closest at just under an hour and Frankfurt, Cologne Bonn and Dusseldorf are all one and a half to two hours away. If prefer to bring your own car, the ferry ports of Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Amsterdam, Dunkerque, Hook of Holland and Calais are all in the region of three to four hours drive away from the park.
