The park itself has won numerous awards and is absolutely delightful, with the wonderful mix of woodland and open landscape providing a unique vista, while Leominster and its surrounding villages are among the most historic places in the country.
The town offers a selection of excellent cafes and restaurants, traditional English pubs and shops, and the countryside is highly regarded by walkers for its access to stunning scenery and beautiful quirks. This is, of course, cider country and who could resist following the famous Cider Trail, or if its history and architecture that take your fancy there are few buildings more majestic than stunning Hereford Cathedral. For antique lovers the shoppers paradise of Ross on Wye is within easy reach while for those who simply want to spend their time relaxing and watching the world go by the tranquil peace of the Aymestrey Lodges park may just be the ideal place.
