Set in over forty acres of exciting and beautiful woodland Quarry Walk has much to offer, not least the copious wildlife that inhabits the area and a choice of tranquil walks through the park itself, while the surrounding countryside is some of the most spectacular and varied in the whole of England.
The beautiful and historic market town of Uttoxeter, famous for its racecourse, is just a few miles away while the glorious Dovedale Valley and nearby canals make this one of the most picturesque of English counties. Within easy reach of this surprisingly tranquil park are the major road networks, meaning Quarry Walk is as easy to get to as it is peaceful to relax in.
Returning from you day out – you can hire bicycles or take a boat trip on the canals – you are met with luxurious accommodation in the shape of wooden lodges sleeping anywhere from two, perfect for the couple looking for a quiet break, to six people, each of which is equipped to the highest standard with TV and hi-fi, bathroom and kitchen and relaxing, well designed living quarters. This is the perfect location for a holiday in this beautiful and often overlooked part of England.
