Guests are offered luxury accommodation, newly built in 2009 and 2010, to sleep 6-8 in 3 and 4 bedroom lodges all furnished and equipped to very high standards with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. Selected accommodation has special features including outdoor hot tubs, sauna and balcony and all have outdoor garden furniture to dine alfresco or to simply relax and soak up the beautiful surroundings. Celtic Lake is situated a short drive from the Welsh coast and the beautiful village of New Quay is the perfect destination for sightseeing, beach lounging, walking and dolphin spotting. Enjoy a walk along the front to the end of the Quay and watch the boats sail by, or sit in one of the cafes overlooking the harbour and see the dolphins. A short drive will take you along the beautiful Welsh coastline to Aberystwyth where you can enjoy the delights of the Cliff Railway, a relaxing train journey where you can take in the breathtaking views over the seaside town of Aberystwyth. At the summit, you can have a birds eye view of the land and seascape from the worlds largest camera obscura – on a clear day it is possible to see 26 mountain peaks spanning much of the length of Wales! You can also enjoy a fascinating historical display, a kids play area, a well-stocked gift shop, and there’s a cafe selling delicious home-made snacks. |
