| Penrhos Park enjoys a beautiful countryside situation, only a mile and a half from the beach 9 miles from Aberyswyth. The park also has it’s own bowling green, tennis court, games room and crazy golf. Dining out choices are the Penrhos Grill serving delicious bar food for casual diners or the Fourways restaurant where guests can chose from the Table d’hote menu. Penrhos Park is centrally situated to explore the attractive towns and villages close by, and the beach is only one and a half miles away. The seaside resort of Aberyswyth is within easy reach, with it’s attractive seafront Victorian buildings and wide promenade offering space to sit and soak up the sun and enjoy views of the sea and the surrounding hills. The Aberystwyth Electric Cliff Railway is the longest electric cliff railway in Britain and you can take in the stunning views and beautiful panorama from the top of Constitution Hill without the effort of climbing. There is a café at the summit and the famous Camera Obscura, where you can enjoy amazing views of the surrounding countryside reflected on the table in the centre of the building. The Cliff Railway also provides the simplest start to the beautiful walk over the cliff-tops to Clarach Bay, where you can catch a bus back to Aberyswyth if you run out of energy. |
