Devon is a popular holiday destination and there are lot’s of great days out, attractions and activities available not far from the site. A 10 minute drive will take you to the award winning Beer Heights Light Railway and PECO Model Railway Exhibition, Pecorama also has five steam miniature locomotives pulling passenger carrying trains on a mile long route over bridges, through steep sided cuttings and even a long dark tunnel. Everyone loves the sound of steam trains – pure nostalgia! Torquay is a beautiful English seaside resort and home to many different attractions. Bygones, is a great day out for all ages with over 20 life size Victorian shops, with their windows filled with thousands of original items like porcelain and dolls houses. You can even experience the sights, sounds and smells of a WW1 trench from 1916 France. There’s also a working model railway.
