Park Information
Brockwood Hall is easily located from the M6 motorway and as well as being ideally placed to enjoy the natural beauty of Cumbria, it is also close to many of the regions attractions.
Enjoy a memorable cruise on beautiful Coniston Water aboard a traditional timber launch powered with quiet solar-electric power, a rowing boat or even a steam powered gondola! There are loads of different sailing options, as well as opportunities to combine walking and boat trips.
Adjacent to the Windermere Lake cruises terminal – and more boat trip options – the aquarium offers a fascinating look at freshwater marine life, you can see Pike, Windermere Char and giant Carp, and the children’s quiz trail keeps the wee ones happy, and you can even arrive by steam train on the Haverthwaite Steam Railway.
Cumbria not only has the Lake District, there is also a lovely coastline, with beautiful beaches and seaside towns and villages, and we all like to be beside the seaside!
