Visted 14th June worst holiday ever went down with intentions of purchasing caravan which we went down last year on a day visit but wanted to find out what it was like staying there, first disaster was when my son fell down a hole on the site went to reception no care, no first aid offered just a map how to get to Bridgend Hospital.
Next morning went to complain manager kept me in office whilst workman went to fill hole in independant witnesssed heard them laughing that they filled it before i got there- already took a photo and filmed the area.
2nd problem we had our to Grandsons with us age 17 and 18 and the security officer or should I say thugs kicked them out for the one drinking a shandy he had no id so fair enough he was told to take is student card and id but the problem that followed is disgraceful on part of Parkdean.
Since my son was told to keep his foot up for 48 hours myself and my husband took our daughter in law and the younger grandchildren down to see the childrens show, our elder grandsons was a few tables away joining in with the fun when a secuirty guard told them to leave the building because he had no id, so they walked over to us and put his drink on the table and walked out. I watched and didnt like the manner of the secuirty guard so i started to follow him which was obviously unknown to him by what transpired after, both grandson’s was out of the building and out of the gates, I was stood behind the secuirty men who was waiting for them to get through the gates and heard the one say to the other he needs a smacking the other one said he is only a kid (God knows what would have happened if he hadn’t been a kid !) and at this they both went through the door runing towards them but by now both Grandsons was virtually out of view by the church, I followed behind still unknown to them, the one secuirty man had is arms folded bunting my grandson along and then got right in my grandsons face when he turned to my grandson and said well your grandmother isnt here now is she for which he replied yes she is she is behind you filming you at this he walked backwards away from him.
The bunting along appears that he was moving him away from any CCTV but I got all on camera myself.
Complaints have been made to Parkdean for the disgraceful manner of the secuirty and for the dangerous state of the area wher my son fell down but todate after requesting 4 times the details of the secuirty company and names of the two thugs involved nothing as been received, dispite the manager asking for us to give Parkdean the chance to put it right, well the 21 days is now up -
A further point to mention this is not a hoilday park just for holiday makers sadly it is a park open to any person who pay the £10 a week charges to go into the different clubs etc, which may be the reason why they need the thugs they have.
This was a real shock since we used to stay at Trecco Bay years ago and found it a great hoilday site which was why we wanted to purchase a Caravan here.
Sadly Parkdean is one of these take your money sites and sod anything else, having tryed to contact be phone to speak to Customer RelationsI was advised that they have no telephone contact you can only ring to make a payment, only contact is by e.mail – but then they don’t reply = Good stuff
